BERINGER WHITE MERLOT

This varietal’s rich blackberry and raspberry aromas and flavors are expressed beautifully.

There are hints of orange peel and nutmeg spice. Like the White Zinfandel, the White Merlot is carefully crafted to be a light, more refreshing version of Merlot.

To achieve the perfect color in the White Merlot, the winemaking team gently de-stems and presses the Merlot grapes, leaving the red skins in contact with the juice for approximately three hours.

As soon as the desired soft, red-purple hue is achieved, the juice is removed.

Slow, cool fermentations follow to retain the bright acidity, fresh melon and citrus flavors.
